THE HOMEWORLDS
PLANET LAVATON
Lavaton is world of extreme heat. Everything melts or burns on its surface and only the hardest rocks stay solid instead of melting. Like the planet Earth, Lavaton is criss-crossed with fissures and cracks however unlike Earth these cracks are far larger and the planet’s core more unstable. Lava constantly spews from within the planet. One volcano has erupted so much that its lava has increased its height to fifty times the tallest mountain on Earth. The volcano only stopped erupting when one of Lavaton's small moons fell into the crater at the top of the volcano and plugged it forever, like a cork in a wine bottle.
Can you imagine a world that has lakes and rivers of lava, where it rain ash every day and rocks that you thought were just rocks have viens of magma and walk around? If you can then you've just imagined planet Lavaton.
PLANET UNGLE
Ungle is a world covered in dense plant life, ruled by plants that devour almost all other life-forms. Unlike Earth where mammals dominate, plants are the ones with all the power sending their seeds into space in order to colonise new worlds. It is said that every plant on planet Ungle is just an extension of the World Seed the first plant to grow on Ungle’s surface. If this is true then every plant is related to one another giving Kutterwood of Ungle millions, maybe billions of brothers and sister. Thankfully none of them as bad as her.
Can you imagine a world that has so many plants that you can't ever see the ground and fields of flowers that go all the way to the horizon? If you can then you've just imagined planet Ungle.
PLANET EYCE
Eyce is a world of ice. Its parent star is tiny and it orbits it on the very tip of the star's gravity well. It was not always like this. Thousands of years ago the star was huge and the planet closer. But over time the star shrank and the planet moved further away. The Glaciations were able to adapt and thrive in the cold, building their cities out of frozen mercury and relying on Cold Fusion to power their civilisation. They even genetically created new forms of life to replace those animals that did not adapt to the ecological changes.
Can you imagine a world with almost no heat, flowing water and certainly no fish. Only ice as far as the eye can see? If you can then you've imagined planet Eyce.
PLANET KRYSTAL
Krsytal is not shaped like a normal planet, nor does it orbit a star. The whole planet is giant shard of quartz pierced by a variety of other minerals. The Krystalians can submerge into the surface of the planet itself travelling underground to reach the cities and towns. There is no atmosphere on planet Krystal, so very few other aliens can live on its surface. The planet's structure also has the tendency to break and reform, which means that it might look very different from one day to the next. Since the planet has no sun to orbit, it is thrown through the universe by the gravity ripples caused by stars, black holes and nebula.
Can you imagine a world that is constantly moving through space, that shines so brightly when it passes a star you're blinded by the very ground you stand on? If you can then you've imagined planet Krystal
PLANET LAYQUID
The only reason planet Layquid hasn't frozen into a giant ice cube in the cold depths of space, is because of its proximity to a very large star. The planet is a giant ball of various liquid state elements warmed by the Heater, the Layquidrian name for their sun. The various fluids are kept close together by a core of iron, whose gravity is strong enough to stop the planet from drifting apart. Because of the various chemical liquids the planet experiences large explosions across its surface when they interact.
Can you imagine a planet with no dry land, one you would have to swim across in vain to find somewhere to stand? If you can you've just imagined planet Layquid.
